Since SONdance Christian Dance School began in 1989, SONdance has earned a reputation for excellence and exciting displays of expressive worship dance. Under the direction of founder and artistic director Jolynda Lyon, SONdance offers quality training in a Christian environment. Now at its new studio location in Manteca at 612 Commerce Ct, just south of Yosemite Ave (behind Home Depot), the school is offering Classical Ballet, Modern, Lyrical, Contemporary Christian "Jazz", as well as other styles of worship dance. Classes are available for ages 4 through adult, beginning through advanced levels. Along with its ministering team “Aroma” directed by Rachel Gustafson, SONdance teams perform throughout the area at schools, churches, hospitals, festivals, fairs and conferences.
