DOCTORS DONATE 375 TURKEYS

Full Description:

Doctors Hospital of Manteca employees who have heard about the posibility that families in Manteca, Ripon, and Lathrop may go without turkeys this Thanksgiving decided to give out 375 turkeys to the less fortunate.

In partnership with the Tenet Healthcare Foundation, the hospital donated $11 in behalf of all 375 of their employees.

The donation also puts Turkeys R Us 705 turkeys on its way to meeting the Thanksgiving need of 1,200 that they must buy and distribute in less than 10 days to reach food closets in Lathrop, Ripon, and Manteca in time.

Donations can still be made by making checks out to Turkeys R Us and dropping them off at the Coldwell Banker Crossroads Real Estate office in Manteca at 355 W. Louise Ave., (823-8141) in the Orchard Supply Hardware shopping center or the Coldwell Banker Crossroads Real Estate office in Lathrop (234-6655) at 15810 S. Harlan Road.
